We have a local thrift store that benefits the local animal shelter. I have found the best junque there and it is for a great cause so it is my go to place for thrifting. Recently I picked up a vintage book copyright 1917 of "Fourty Thousand Quotations - Prose and Poetical" compiled by Charles Noel Douglas --- for the unbelievable price of $3.99. After scooping it up quickly and doing the happy dance (in my head of course-don't want to look tooo crazy about my find) I couldn't wait to get home and pore through this beauty. And now I want to share it with the photos and hopefully inspire some beautiful projects! Enjoy!

Beautiful Family

Isn't this a beautiful family portrait? Dad so handsome, Mom so pretty and Baby so happy! This would be great in any art project.

It has been an eventful year. We took a 7 week drive across America in the spring and a shorter trip to do a craft show in Arkansas is October. Got to do lots of "picking" along the way and I have piles more of pictures and music and written pages to share. So I am promising myself at least one pic a day so stay tuned!

Short Swing...

Well it didn't take me long to get behind again! But we decided to take a looonnnggg vacation and now are in sunny Destin Florida. It all started with a desire to visit some friends and family and has turned into a marathon 7 week jaunt across America! We did a booth at the Springtime In Tallahassee to start and will end with a booth at the War Eagle Mill in Rogers Arkansas on May 6, 7, & 8. And in between lots of miles and lots of fun. As soon as I can get my pictures off my camera I will post some - it has been a great adventure so far!

Back in the Swing...

Well that was a long pause...between getting ready for fall shows and putting everything away for the holidays, it takes me forever to dig things back out. So I have a collection of great images ready to scan in the next few days so come back often and check them out!

To get back into things I found this picture in a book I bought at the thrift store. He looks so confident in his fancy "two seater"! Enjoy!
